Not many people consider health as a priority when it comes to being wealthy. After all being healthy is pretty much the only thing we have if we lose everything. Why not make health your priority in life. Being healthy not only puts you in peak state, but also allows you to achieve your goals and overcome obstacles. Below are 5 ways that you can accumulate great health (wealth).
What you eat does affect the health of your body. Aim to eat plenty of good-for-you foods like whole grain, fruits and vegetables. It is particularly important to have a diet rich in vitamins and minerals and omega 3’s. Juicing and eating fruit and vegetables is an easy way to get nutrients and meet your daily water requirement.
Stress is the best enemy of getting unhealthy. Whenever you’re stressed, your adrenal glands pump out more of the hormone androgen. According to Dr. Richard Fried, M.D., Ph.D., every system affects every other system in the body. And what happens to the brain definitely trickles down. Have a plan for dealing with anxiety and stress. Set aside time each day for reflection and relaxation. Take yoga or meditation classes or take a walk or simply talk it out to a friend.
Change your Lifestyle
To achieve balance and harmony in your life, it is very important to stop unhealthy habits while still young. Stop smoking and drinking alcohol. Life is too short. I know you don’t want to get old but you will die young if you don’t change your lifestyle.
Have Enough Sleep
You need at least eight hours of sleep a night. Lack of sleep can stress the body and being fatigue can also worsen skin problems, this can cause irritation and lack of focus in your work. Getting enough sleep gives the skin cells to rejuvenate. As a result, you will have glowing skin.
An ounce of prevention is better than cure
We are what we eat! And eating the right amounts of whole healthy un-processed foods is what we should be eating. This simple fact is what distinguishes sick people and healthy people so eat well and couple this with regular exercise and meditation and you will start feeling and seeing the results!
