Researchers conducted by independent organizations show that organic foods are higher in nutrition content and don’t contain the unwanted preservatives, pesticides and fertilizers that often are found in mass produced foods.

Neurotoxins are commonly found in pesticides and have damaging effects on health especially on the brain and nerve cells. This toxin was originally developed as a biochemical weapon during the World War I. When there was no longer use for them, the producers used them to kill pests.

Organically grown food has more health benefits because it contains vitamins, minerals and micronutrients than commercially grown food because the soil used in organic farming is managed by sustainable practices.

There has been a rampant loss of crop species in the last century. Relying on one or two food varieties is dangerous because it limits people’s access to abundant health food sources. Growing an assorted range of food should be done to ensure that there is enough food throughout the year.

Eating organic not only gives you enriched foods without the added harm from pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. But it does improve the quality of nutrients you are taking in, and in return your body will thank you.
